For a three-year-old, this is a seat at the grown-ups' table. It's also a stage for a small performance, a garage for the cars, an island when the floor turns to lava, and the place they sit when they're thinking about something important.
Which is why the paint is water-based and safe, the birch is FSC-certified, and the fastening is hidden underneath — you see one clean object, not the hardware holding it together. Two panels cross through the seat and lock beneath it. That X-geometry took the Junior Design Award in 2020.
The color arrives first. The grain of the birch stays visible where the stool meets the floor. So when they've outgrown the seat, you don't put it away — it becomes a plant stand, a side table, the place a cup goes beside the sofa.
Cut and painted in our workshop in Ukraine. Flat-packed. Tool-free. Minutes to assemble.
