Eight wooden figures — the circle widens. The six of the Basic Set, joined by Brave and Dance: the courage to step forward, the freedom to move. Now the circle holds both — being with others, and being in motion. A composition for a shelf where the household begins, or a daily practice of choosing which state belongs to today. The woman who holds, and the woman who moves.
Solid wood, water-based pigment, natural cotton bag. Designed in collaboration with illustrator Olga Rotaenko, finished by hand in Korosten, Ukraine.
