Eight wooden shapes with magnetic backs, sized from a marble to a small fish. Arrange them on a fridge, a magnetic board, the side of a cabinet. The youngest player calls them by color; the older one builds patterns, faces, compositions; the adult lets them sit as small wall art between games.
