Look at it from a child's height and the color is everywhere — they see the painted legs, not the seat. Look at it from yours and the birch top comes first. The stool reads differently depending on who's in the room.
For a three-year-old, this is a seat at the grown-ups' table, a stage, a garage, and the place they sit when they're thinking. Which is why the paint is water-based and safe, the birch is FSC-certified, and the fastening is hidden underneath — you see one clean object, not the hardware holding it together. Two panels cross through the seat and lock beneath it. That X-geometry took the Junior Design Award in 2021.
The natural seat means when they've outgrown it, the stool slips easily into another life — a plant stand, a side table, the place a cup goes beside the sofa. The color underneath is still there. It's just a quieter story now.
